Seeders Announces the Launch of THYREON at an Event at the National Gallery on March 18

Seeders, a Greek technology and innovation company certified to ISO 56001, 9001, and 27001 standards, officially announces the launch of THYREON, its specialized Defence & Security Business Unit, with a mission to bridge the Greek defence ecosystem with the European defence market.

The official presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Amphitheatre of the National Gallery in Athens, in the presence of executives from defence companies and industries, retired officers of the Armed Forces and Security Corps, representatives of government agencies, and industry professionals.

Admission is free (seats are limited). Registration is required at: eventora.com

THYREON: "The Bridge to European Defence"

THYREON provides strategic consulting services and training to companies and organizations active in or seeking to enter the Greek and European defence sector. Services cover the entire value chain: from market analysis and consortium building to proposal submission to European funding instruments (EDF, Horizon Europe, PESCO) and project management.

The THYREON team consists of retired military officers, defence programme management executives, and technologists with extensive experience in the Greek and European defence ecosystems.

Defence to Business (D2B): Career Transition Programme

As part of the event, the launch of the 2nd cycle of Defence to Business (D2B) is announced — the first structured career transition programme for retired officers and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces and Security Corps in Greece. D2B transforms the operational experience of military personnel into actionable professional value for the private sector through structured mentoring, consulting, and networking with private sector companies.

Defence Innovation Officer (DIO): First Certification in Greece and Europe

The third announcement concerns the creation of the Defence Innovation Officer (DIO) — the first individual certification programme in defence innovation in Greece and Europe, in partnership with TÜV Austria Hellas. The certification is aimed at defence industry executives, researchers, and professionals seeking documented specialization in defence innovation management in accordance with NATO and EU standards.

"The Greek defence industry possesses significant expertise and capable human capital. What is often missing is structured access to the European defence ecosystem — to the right networks, the appropriate consortia, and funding instruments. THYREON was created to fill precisely this gap: to function as a bridge between Greek capabilities and European defence programmes."
